Hi,
I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....
This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.
Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

Regarding the fingerprint: same issue. 2 weeks ago I deleted all fingerprint and readded. No problem since then (I'm using a screen protector made of glass)

I am experiencing the same. Since the update I have no problems with the phone. It is true that I have not been using my Bluetooth headphones as usual, only the watch is connected.

same here, great solution, I bought the phone just to watch it, not to use it.
They are really crazy.

I'm having issues with phone calls as well so I thought I would add my experience here.
Galaxy S22 Ultra 512GB. Single SIM, UK. Exynos processor.
My issues are few and far between mainly because I don't use my phone that much but I have definitely had 8 or 9 issues out of maybe 30 calls.
In some ways I wish my symptoms were more obvious like some of the messages on this thread. If mine were more obvious then the phone would have gone back where it came from as unfit for purpose.
My symptoms have varied. Sometimes the other end can't hear me (happened more than once after waiting a long time in a queue). Sometimes I'm convinced there is a long delay in the call so the conversation becomes very confused.
Yesterday I had a long incoming call that worked perfectly. Then I made a short call and the other end were having problems hearing me. I asked what the problem was and they said the start of my replies was being chopped off.
I've tried a few things over the weeks to see if I could isolate the cause. Turn off WiFi calling, stopped using a Bluetooth recorder I paid a lot of money for, make sure I had latest updates. But nothing obvious and the problems have continued.
I have used Samsung support which I thought was quite good (my expectations were low, so...). Main requests from them were to sign into my Samsung account (which I don't use) force Samsung app updates, replace the SIM, turn WiFi calling back on lol and a few other minor tweeks. They were very good at taking me through backing my device up thoroughly which I've been a bit lazy about.
Next stage which after yesterday's problem will be a factory reset (yawn).
After that they will replace the phone I think.
My biggest irritation is lack of hard evidence. I've considered setting up some automated testing where I call another spare phone, record both ends independently with an accurate time reference and then somehow generate timing sounds both ways. But as you can image this would be a right pain to set up.

Same issue here (S22U 512GB, Germany, Exycrap SoC, using eSim with 5G capable plan ).
The Problem varies in its appearence. Sometimes it takes up to 14 days until I can't be heard and hear while calling, today the problem appeared again after just 6 days.
The only way to resolve it for the next couple of days is a complete reboot of the device.
Just reported the problem, but I guess that wont change anything.
When I'm back home I'm trying to get my S 22 U replaced for a new one (bought directly from Samsung)
There's also a large thread in a German forum with plenty of people experiencing this issue:

I paid 150$ for mine same problem. I thought maybe it was overpaying for the phone that caused it. Aliexpress.com
