Hi,
I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....
This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.
Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

Same issue for my S21. Makes the phone totally useless. How can this be?
I do use my bluetooth headphones a lot. Could that be related?

Hi all,
I’ve done a little tidying of the most recent part of the topic, as it was clearly straying away from the topic.
Couple of other things in general.
1. Please try to be nice to each other – even if you have a different opinion or experience of something. We all should be here to help and share information with each other and benefit from that, rather than looking to attack and bring one another down.
2. There’s often more than one way to go on an issue like in this topic, and it’s worth bearing in mind that a particular route to a satisfactory conclusion for you may not necessarily be as desirable or suitable for someone else. Not because you’re any better or worse, just that their situation, wants and needs might be different.
Cheers.

This issue would be less emotional, if the Samsung company would make a clear statement about it. Your company remains silent for about 9 month the issue appears with the first S22U - for MANY of your customers over the whole planet.
Now your customers, mainly non-technical people, trying to solve to issue with no success. The biggest issue is the information-policy of your company.

Samsung released two modem/baseband patches in November and wrote to a user on another German forum that they were working on fixing the bug. With the second November patch this should probably be the case / attempt. Many no longer have the error after the first patch. Samsung was late in responding, but software engineers now seem to be addressing the bug. Maybe it is already fixed with the patch from 28.11. (Currently only downloadable via SmartSwitch).

after having this S22Ultra for many months now, I start getting this problem today and even reboot is not helping.
sometimes I hear the other caller and sometimes we both don’t hear each other.
Calling using social apps like WhatsApp is good and clear but problem is with calls on mobile network.

This issue is still going on. @SamSung, when will you fix this? Lots off people are waiting for patch or fix.

In Germany there were two patches for CSC and Baseband (= Modem) in November. The first has probably already helped many users, the second probably (not sure yet), almost all. Did you also have these two patches? If not, they will probably come to other countries soon.

I've got the same problem with my S21 since I switched my personal-SIM from D1 to O2, so I have now D1 (business) and O2 (personal) which effects exact this issue
I am on the newst Update (from Nov-26-2022) G991BXXS5DVK1 / G991BOXM5DVJC / G991BXXU5DVJA
Is there a way to get a newer, perhaps "nightly" Update from Samsung?
What I could observe, however, is that it could possibly be related to the location, i.e. at which cell the phone is logged in.
When I am at home, the calls work significantly longer after a restart.
At work, it usually ends after 10...15 minutes.

Dont believe the german fairy tale teller. You have to exchange your defective S22U. Its a hardware failure.
