Call sound issues - others can't hear me during calls and I can't hear them either

Hi,

I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....

This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.

Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

Same problem here 😕 I connected with a service agent via Smart Tutor and he called and it didn't work at all. He performed a lot of scans and tests and deactivated and activated the "DO NOT DISTURB" several times and that seemed to do the trick somehow? He said it was probably because of that, but it can't be because even when you turn "DO NOT DISTURB" back on, it still works... can't believe I spent 700€ on this...

I've been having this issue as well ever since I bought my phone.
Only thing that helps temporarily is a reboot, but it doesn't take long until I run into the same issue.
I rarely turn off my phone and it never looses it's battery fully, so I don't restart unless I'm updating.
I've been trying out different settings and turning them on or off, it does not help.
I decided this is beyond me and hope there will be fix to this soon. It's starting to get annoying.
My device isn't even two months old and it was like this ever since I got the phone.
At first I thought it was the SIM card, but it doesn't make sense since I can make calls after reboot.
I have missed many important calls and before I found out how to fix it temporarily, I had to ask to borrow other people's phones only to call back.

Either return it or set it to auto reboot each night in the settings. This helps. Thank me later. Cheers.

As in, is this affecting all S22s or only if you are unlucky?

Contact Samsung via the Members App and be sure to report the error permanently. Include a log. But don't restart the phone before the error report.

S22 with Android 13 here. Problem still exists.

Did you report the problem with the Members App? German forums also state that the problem is still there. However, some have been able to call again after two or three failed call attempts since A13.
