Unfortunately pretty much every phone or computer os realised have bugs.... Windows, Windows Mobile, Apple MacOS, ios etc.
There are literally thousands of configurations with new and old devices, different hardware and software configs.
Some bugs are known when releasing, these would be relatively minor and non mission critical.... Sadly, a few big ones do slip through.
In the past, Samsung were slower to release new versions and their qa was pretty good.
