Battery usage ONE UI 6 STABLE

Hi folks, after updating to the stable version of one ui 6, my battery life has been absolutely terrible, i know this is common but how can i fix this or what can i do to atleast slow it down?

Not really impressed to be honest.

There is no way 29% is lasting me 3 hours 47 minutes at this rate.

You can do it without a PC aslong as you have a USB-c to headphone jack adaptor

Same with me dreadful. A few days ago I was thinking how impressed I was with battery life on my s23+. Now it's terrible. Like an old phone. I have to charge twice a day. Before I had a full day no problem

I have lho s22 ultra and i had a good battery life untill the ui 6.0 uptdate.

Same here. S23 was amazing before this downgrade.  Tried all the things like clearing cache partition and good lock app booster but didn't help.

The one thing that has made a massive difference for me is the "suspend execution of cached apps" option under developer settings.  Since turning this on the battery life Is back to how it should be.

I'm guessing the androids apps have not optimised their code yet for android 14/one ui 6 as it seems they are killing the battery in the background.  Anyway hope this helps as it has solved the issue for me without any drawbacks.
