I have this morning just updated my phone to Android 14 & One UI 6.1. I have always had the Always On Display set to show a clock face rather than a digital clock. The update as usual changed the Always on display to a digital clock and I cannot now find a way to change the Always On Display back to a clock face. I'd like to think that this is still possible, if so how do I do it?

Edit lock screen is indeed in the "Looking for something else" options, but is not selectable, ie nothing happens. Edit lock screen does not come up with a search either

Can you long press on the lockscreen and then tap on the clock. You should then see a selection of clock designs to pick from.

If by "lockscreen" you mean the screen showing the Always on Display, then no, long pressing does nothing. Only my thumbprint does anything and that's only the actual unlocking.

@paul685298: Please try restarting your device (press and hold the Side button > Restart) then head back to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Looking for something else? > Edit Lock screen > Tap on the clock > Select your preferred clock face > Done. This will be shown on both the Lock screen and Always On Display (AOD), as it is no longer possible to assign a different clock type to each screen.

"Edit Lock Screen" is still not an executable link, even after restart. It still only appears in the "Looking for something else" bit at the bottom of the page and does not appear generally in the "Lock Screen and AOD" section. Edit Lock Screen is still not searchable as a means of attacking this from a different direction. For clarity, I am trying the different suggestions as they come in.

Edit Lock Screen is the only option in the Looking for something else bit that does not execute, all the other options execute just fine.

Look in lock screen and AOD setting, you'll then get the options for further options. Mine is the S22ultra so you should have them settings too. Like AndrewL says in his reply to your post.

I wish I could attach a screen shot! When I go into Lock Screen and AOD, The options that I get are

1. Screen Lock Type

2. Extend Unlock

3. Secure Lock Settings

4. Always On Display

5. Touch and hold to Edit

6. Roaming Clock

7. Widgets

8. About Lock Screen

Within those, Screen Lock Type gives me security options like fingerprint and face ID etc. Exten Unloick gives me On Body Detection, Trusted Places and Trusted devices. Seure Lock Setting gives me Auto Lock when screen turns off, Lock Instantly with side button, auto factory reset, Lock network and security and Show Lockdown options. Always on display gives me a picture of the always on display (no functions), Show Muisic Information, When to show, About always on display and Contact us. Touch and hold to edit is just an on off switch. Roaming clock gives me Home time and region. Widgets gives me Music, Weather, Today's schedule, Next alarm, Digital Wellbeing, Routines, Voice Recorder and Smarthings.About Lock Screen just gives me licence information. After all of that I get the previously mentioned Looking for Something else which is the only place that I can see Edit Lock Screen anywhere, but again it is not executable, it does nothing.
