why two mic icons in message apps?

hi all, 

not sure what the first top mic icon is for 

...the one below is part of gboard which I use for dictation

... can it be hidden? ie the none gboard icon

I would say its part of gboard if you use the standard samsung keyboard you will only have one mic. On the gboard I would say both mics do the same thing which is write out what you talk
