So I am experimenting with keeping power saving mode ON all the time with only the CPU at 70%

Come Join me and see if it makes a difference in battery life without affecting other things.

Just for Fun 😊

Things I have noticed so far.
1. Definitely increases battery life as less CPU resources used.
2. Dose t seem to make much difference in gaming (cod mobile for me) and it actually seems to keep the mobile cooler

Post your thoughts if you try it.

Actually I didn't realise until you said it . Mine used to be adaptive .

Wonder if we can do a routine with just the CPU on 70%.

I Still  think there is bound to be some trade off in terms of performance and limited to the standard refresh rate.  personally think the best experience generally outweighs battery life but you need that to be sufficient for your needs. There may be times when Power Saver is required though.  Still could always try it and see if the difference is particularly noticeable.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I believe the S23 has a built in mode (light mode I think it's called) which does similar I believe. I could be wrong.

It's a shame it changes the 120ht to 60htz though.

I guess for when you are near a charger definitely put it on full blast.

When traveling power saver is a must.

I just like to experiment with different combos available to us ☺️
