Sleep mode keeps activating the alarm no matter what I do. I have gone into the settings and dug down to turn it off and saved it but it reactivates next time. I deleted the current sleep mode then rebooted the phone and recreated it turning off the alarm but it still insists on turning it back on. I've stopped the app cleared the cache pretty much everything I could think of and it persists.
I've finally deleted sleep mode completely and just use the do not disturb under notifications and it's no problem. If you have other options you want to change during do not disturb most can be written into a routine that runs at a specified time period you can set parallel to sleep mode. Sure it's a pain but less painful than the bug that keeps arming the alarm.
Samsung you need to fix this.

I had a Samsung S22, and sleep mode worked perfectly without an alarm. I migrated to S23, and now every day, the alarm goes off and rings; the worst thing is that it happened during a long weekend. Annoying!

You rocked!!! That's the solution!! The time at the top is the watch and alarm and the time period in "condition" is just the time period.
Doing this makes it possible to use the sleep routine (without the alarm) and keep the sync capability with the watch - in my case, it is very important because I use "always on display" and it must be trigged of at sleeping time.
This solution is like the "Columbus egg" and now that I know thanks to you, it makes me feel silly.

UPDATE. This solution worked for me. I think you're right about the master switch. Much easier solution without messing with other settings or routines. Thanks!

Unfortunately, my screen doesn't look like this on my S21. I just have one condition to choose: "Sleep schedule." If it's on, the alarm sounds. If it's off, sleep mode doesn't come on. So YMMV

Not the good way to fix this issue. When you turn off the alarm and the vibration, the alarm still turn off when the sleep mode is automatically activated. You don't hear the sound or the vibration but the alarm still there (see the icon in the bar notification).
Better to disable the alarm in the sleep mode and create a period time to activate the sleep mode without alarm. Like this, the alarm will never be activated and completely turned off.

Thank you for the solution. It's works!

Hi. I disagree. I havnt had any notification or sound or vibration since I implemented this and its been over 48 hours now. I keep an eye on the clock alarm too it is not getting enabled.
My sleep functions are starting and stopping as expected.
I do see the sleep mode icon in the bar at the top but I think that is just showing the routine is active. If you create a custom mode the icon you select for it shows in the bar at the time it is active. If you create a routine I think you don't get an icon in the bar.
Accepting that some devices might be different this is what I see. Its Android 13 + UI 5.1
The first set is my normal setting but as I demo I changed the times so that the phone would go into sleep mode. Notice the Clock Alarm stays off. I have found in the past t get re-enabled after 24 hours if you leave Sound / Vibrate etc on.
Hope it works for at least some of you. Question is - although this is how it works is it reasonable to assume it should work differently? Ash

My S21 Ultra doesn't have it either... same as you have.
