Hi @Mrclius
My Fingerprint Scanner on my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra has always worked around 90% of the time.
I believe in my circumstances it's my skin which can become dry.
I take two scans of the thumb I prefer to use and I've scanned my other thumb too.
Breathing on my thumb appears to help increase the % rate !
Try deleting your scans and reset them back up, and perhaps scanning the same print twice may help.
You could also perform a cache wipe which should generally help with a phone after a software update.
> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
