S21 Ultra - Update 4.1 - Videos on Browser wont work

Ever since I have done the Android 4.1 update on my samsung s21 ultra, videos won't play on the browsers. I have tried both chrome and the default Samsung browser. 

This video glitch happens as well on some other applications. 

I have tried a number of fixes of which seem to work, including contacting Google themselves. 

Please advice

Agreed, I've been loyal since the D900. Loosing a basic capability of a smartphone and being told nearly a month later to just be patient is a major blow to their reputation for me.
Apple looks more appealing every day that goes by.
Another issue ive noticed since the update is the camera doesn't focus as well. I clean my lens religiously before shooting and it's just taking blurred shots even trying to manually pick focal points, you need to go into pro mode and use the manual slider!

This update should not have been released.

Today it come a Update Patch on my S21 Ultra. 

After that the Problem is still there.

Same issue, video loads only 1 time and then you have to restart.

Also youtube video gets hanged for seconds and then loads.

I have same problem. Contact samsung help services on whatsap...they have nothing but to tell you backup then reset the phone to factory setting or clear cache...!

At least for my device I can confirm diego65s statement, that Opera browser ist not affected. This ist my current workaround.

The problem got worse: in addition to the videos being crashing in Chrome, all videos from all apps have also stopped working, including those from samsung/google's own gallery. A restart is being required in this case. I contacted Samsung support 3 days ago and didn't get any feedback from them. My complaint has been ignored or not seen yet. I'm thinking of leaving Samsung.

It is not as if it were 2 or 5 days with this problem, it occurs since March 22 and has not yet been solved and have not given an answer on the problem other than automated responses asking to restart/give hard reset on the device. Really frustrating to have an 80% unusable device for so long and without any kind of feedback. 😪

Today I've got software update on my Galaxy S21 - and videos still don't play. They didn't fix it.  In a 1 Month time. Now we have to wait another one.  What a ***** from Samsung. I think I've made 500 € mistake 1 Month ago buying ***** of Samsung Galaxy S21.

We were with samsung... just bought a new Iphone...learning how to adapt with it and moving on. Samsung just lost a client (i know they don t care) maybe you guys on this list can do the same...so that samsung knows service is not a word...it s an act and an attitude.
