s21 ultra fingerprint scan

Anyone noticed the scan doesn't seem anywhere near as good now it's in the screen? I had an s9+ and it was great at rear. Easier when holding phone too.

I would rather have a rear or side mounted fingerprint scanner on my S20 Plus as I hate the inscreen one because it takes 3 tries before it actually unlocks.

honestly, i quite happy with it. even with this screen protector, it unlocks rapidly.

I had a problem when I was registering my fingerprints. But unlocking is absolutely perfect. very fast

Registering the same finger multiple times can help.

Or even better registering both thumbs in one fingerprint works even better.

I have the s21, the fingerprint scanner is terrible.  It takes at let 5 tries to get it to work.  I never know where exactly the scanner is located.  I put my finger on the logo that appears and that is never the right spot

it seems to take a photo now and then processes. at least you don't have to keep trying. Still a bit *****.
