S21 FE Terrible gsm signal

Hey,

what is going on with gsm signal in this phone? I've just scheduled second warranty repair after few month of usage. 

I'm constantly dropping signal, very often receive information that people cannot call me even though I live in big city where other phones have no issues at all.

I changed the sim card, tried my wife card, nothing helps. I have tested my card in other phones, works perfectly. 

I did all this restart, check card, change network mode to LTE/3G/2G (although I don't know why am I not suppose to use 5G in phone that has 5G?) etc. stuff, nothing helps. This is clearly Samsung issue.

For S phone in this price range this sounds like a bad joke to be honest...

What network are you on? Contract or PAYG?
When you make a call, does your phone stay on 4g?
Tried WiFi calling?

I have contract network. 
When I make calls it is constantly on LTE (just checked)
I don't use wifi calling at all.

You need to contact your network provider and see what they can do for you.

I've used different sim cards (from different providers) and it also has poor signal, I don't think this is the issue, especially that they work well in other phones.

Try WiFi calling and see if it helps. Is this just indoors or everywhere, e.g. outside mile's away from your home location.

This issue happens everywhere, it just breaks signal for a while, I've googled this problem and it seems it happens for a lot of people using s20 and s21 models...

I'm afraid this is a known issue.

S21 Series had a poor quality 5123b modem inside which has been found to connect poorly to GSM networks in the UK.

I had to return my S21 Ultra devices for refund due to this issue.

Thanks for sharing, I have read a lot of forum threads and it really seems to be pretty common issue, already wrote on my warranty that I want to change the phone or get refund, don't know if they will accept it, phone is not usable tho. 

Sad thing is that beside that phone seems to be really solid, but this is to basic function to ignore it.

hi guys.... bugger ☹️ I'm getting similar issues with my s21 fe 5g ... in some areas... think will try another network as on sim only Lebara at mo ...maybe giffgaff
