Which earbuds are you trying to connect?
I've had no issues with Sony's wf-xm3 and wh-xm4,
most cone with software have you made sure they're updated?
They also come with specific ways of initiating pairing made, for instance you press and hold both touch pads on the xm3's.
Have you tried and been successful pairing them on any other devices, phones/TVs/tablets etc?
