Android 13 one ui 5.0 phone orientation issue

Ok so....its been a while since I had any issue with the s21 ultra or android until I updated it to the latest software: android 13 one ui 5.0.

So far I've noticed a major and irritating problem.

It's the phones orientation. When phone held in portrait position, and the auto rotate is on auto mode, the phone camera app, chrome websites, and actually any other apps that allow the orientation options in landscape and portrait, the phone keeps turning landscape when the phone is held in portrait. VERY ANNOYING. 

all pictures are coming out in wrong orientation. Can't look at websites 

unless I lay the phone flat. 

When the auto rotation is turned off I can use all the apps in portrait mode except the camera still switches orientation the wrong way around.

Ok, no need for a factory reset. I just restarted the phone and it seems fine now. Thanks everyone for your help

I had the same situation when I updated my s21 ultra to android 13. Mostly all of my apps and camera keeps rotating to landscape mode. But now I powered off my device, it's all good now.

Happens to me all the time since One UI 5. I restart the device and it fixes for a day or so but then it happens again. Very annoying

Same with my s21U also. I had seen this issue from beta and had to lock my phone in portrait mode. But camera module still remains in landscape. Only temporary fix is to restart it and the issue disappears for some time.

I tried everything to fix the rotation issue but didn't work. Then I call to Samsung customer care and they suggested me to go to service centre for reinstallation of android 13 update. It started annoying me. Don't know if we get a permanent solution for this.

i have the same problem, a reboot only fixes it for a while, the problem comes back

Same issue i restarted my phone a few days ago because of this issue and it came back. Also i wanted to mention that my S21u Battery got really bad, like i only get around 4-5hr screen on time and this really annoys me
