I must have enabled an accessibility feature and then forgot how to disable it.

After looking for five or so minutes in Settings I found this feature located at Settings \ Accessibility \ Interaction and dexterity \ Assistant menu.

This feature might be interesting for  some folks.   Screenshot_20211012-175343_Microsoft Launcher.jpgScreenshot_20211012-175335_Microsoft Launcher.jpg

The vertical volume control was an unintentional addition to the screen shot.

I should have also added that to access this feature once it's enabled, you'll have to click on the small half moon indicator along the edge of the screen.

I enabled this feature without noticing that half moon indicator since it blended so well with my previous wallpaper.  I would activate this feature by accident and not realize how I did it.
