Hi everybody,

My S21 battery is has yet to last one full day. So I tried to test the battery draining not using the phone during the night, and it dropped to 50%...

This doesn't seem normal to me. Is this what I have to expect and accept from Samsung? So far I always used Huawei and I never once had to worry about battery life...

Could this phone battery have issues? Should I return this device and ask for a new S21? I'll be honest, I already returned it once, this is the second S21 giving me these type of battery draining issues...

Thanks

Some personal tips from me:

• Keep Dark Mode on.

• Go to Settings, then Connections, go to More Connection Settings and turn Nearby Device Scanning off (it wastes a lot of battery in the background).

• Uninstall any of your unused apps, it saves memory and reduces the background battery drain.

• Use a darker wallpaper.

• Turn off NFC, Wifi, Bluetooth and etc when you aren't using them because it will save you lots of battery.

Please let me know if you need more help with your phone and I will be glad to help. Hope this helps!

Even though it only used 1.3% (allegedly) it may have been the cause for why your phone refused to enter sleep mode, possibly a bug. My guess is, if you had a watch connected but took it off, the phone may have been constantly trying to sync with it but couldn't thus wasting your battery while it was suppose to be off. If this is indeed the problem I would suggest manually removing the watch from your Bluetooth devices if you do not intend on using it to see if it helps.
