'Create time lapse videos
Turn a picture into a vivid 24-hour time-lapse video. A button will appear for pictures of scenery including the sky, bodies of water, mountains, or cities. Your video will appear as if an entire day has passed.'

Anyone care to explain how this works? I have scenic photos but don't see the 'button' Samsung speaks of

No I'm talking about the new feature (in recent update) that is able to automatically turn a single photo into a 24hr timelapse. Like this https://screenrant.com/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-24-hour-time-lapse-how/

Thanks for clarifying. Seems som landscapes get this option but try as I did (S21U) no clock appeared. It is supposedly choosy and those who got it to work weren't impressed.

Very interesting.

Unfortunately there is no description of how this works.

I really hope samsung will come forward with an explanation.

Have you had a look here, @TB000

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/what-is-the-hyperlapse-camera-mode/

While it is a brief guide, I think it will prove useful if you want to use the Hyperlapse camera mode. 🎥

Im not trying to use Hyperlapse camera mode. I'm talking about the new feature (in recent update) that is able to automatically turn a single photo into a 24hr timelapse. Like this https://screenrant.com/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-24-hour-time-lapse-how/

This feature seems to have started working now although it does seems to choose the photos at random. I literally took the same photo twice and it appears on one but not the other. 🤷

Ah, thanks for clarifying that, @UKSmeagal. It is an AI feature, so I understand that it will only be present/available in certain lighting conditions.

Did you find Scene Relighting via the Single Take mode, or via another route?
