Hello,
I have an S20+ 5G phone, bought in the UK, but I don't think I have ever had an update installed since buying it. I am still on One UI version 3.1, Android 11 and Security patch level "1 February 2021". When I try to "Download and Install" an update from "Software update" settings, it just keep telling me that my "Software is up to date".
Is there a way to force my phone to update?
Thanks

Hi @Izikovic
Who supplied the phone to you in the UK ?
i.e was it Samsung UK ?
You could also try Samsung Smartswitch to see if there's any update that route.
Sammobile has information on their site in regards to software updates too.
Try removing your current sim card and insert another networks as this has been known to help instigate an update but isn't guaranteed.
A Samsung Service Centre maybe able to help.

I bought it from ChitterChatter UK.
I tried with SmartSwitch and I get the same result, "No new updates".
I'll try with a different sim card and if not, try calling Smasung Service Centre.
Thanks!

In Settings and then About Phone and Software Information what are the three alphabetical letters at the end in the Service Provider Software Version section ?
For example mine is EUX.
I ask as some reviews on Trust Pilot state this company deals in grey imports from europe which can in my experience cause delays in these phone's receiving updates as your dependent on the country of origin releasing it.

The last three letters are XSG.
Is this something that can be changed? Would using a VPN help with getting the update?
Thanks
