Phone locks itself randomly

I was halfway through replying to an email when the phone just decided to lock itself. When i unlocked it my email was gonna, no draft, nothing.

I would recommend deleting the email app you use and reinstall it. If problems still happens, would recommend a factory reset. (But maybe look into it more before factory resetting)

I have the same issue. My Note 10 + 5G started doing it right after updating to Android 12, now my brand new S22 Ultra is doing it too. Seems like a big with android 12. I noticed it usually happens when I get a notification while doing something else on the phone. Totally random, but seems to always be immediately after a notification.
