Phantom Calls after I finish the original call

I have an S20Fe and I get calls like most of us here, answer them, go the distance and finally "hang up". About 2 to 6 minutes after the call is terminated, the phone rings again, the number I was just talking with displays, and when I answer it there is no one there, you can not put the call on speaker, hold or any other options, all you can do is reject it. By the way, there is no one answering either and on checking the original caller did not make the second call.

Is anyone else experiencing this activity?

That is really strange. I've never heard of this nor suffered from this, so I'm sorry to say, I can't help you. I do hope you get some other answers that help you. Apologies again, but at least you know your message can be seen.

That is weird. Have you checked with your network provider / carrier?

@SteveR4561: Is this issue occurring after all incoming calls, or just with certain contacts? Next time you complete a call, try restarting the phone in Safe Mode, as this will disable all third party apps and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source.

To enter Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

If the phantom call does not come through, then please restart your device as you would normally, and uninstall any apps that you have added since you first encountered the issue.

Thanks Andrew.

It is after all calls for a couple of days then stops. What you have said in your reply makes a lot of sense.

Next phantom I get, as it stopped yesterday,  I will follow your instruction and see what's playing in the back ground.

Thanks again.
