Hi . Anyone experiencing heating issues after the newest update on the s20 series? 

I updated my s20 ultra and just scrolling etc and heating up like never before. I have most of the apps in sleeping mode or switched off data usage in the background etc. The phone is in battery saver mode. 

Any advice? Thanks

I believe it's a known issue with the update and l suspect they working on a update

And with the Hot weather UK not helping

What l do is lie my phone down on cool surface face down helps cool it

There's an excellent app
Bamowi

That keeps an eye on temperature
It won't cool it but gives
A warning if to high
Will also show temp
At top of the phone 📱 👌

Clear the phone's System Cache Files which might help.

Clear your phone's System Cache Files by turning your phone Off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phone's System Files and clear the cache. No information is lost this way.
