After the August update, when I reboot my phone, it shows a persistent notification "Secure Folder locked" under Android system section...the only way to make it go is to unlock my secure folder.
I don't want to uninstall Secure Folder, just looking for an one time solution to get rid of that pesky notification. TIA

I have the same issue guys and nothing from this thread is working on S21. Samsung, where are you?

I do not get anything. I have forgiveness my pass code, it doe not pop up anything about a forgotten password. Nothing happens.

Amazing how Samsung hasn't pushed out a simple fix. I'm getting tired of having to unlock a "Secure Folder" I didn't know I had, every time I restart my S21.
Are we sure this isn't an Android-Google OS issue?

No, this is a Samsung issue. Even if Android made a change, Samsung has to update their code to run on top of Android. Secure Folder is a Samsung feature.

Thank-you for the quick feedback.
I'm still scouring the internet looking for a fix that will get rid of this notification.
If I don't find a fix, I'll just find out how to properly get rid of the Secure Folder.
I never knew I had one until the notification began appearing after every restart. Thanks again for the reply.

Oh my goodness,‼️I have the same problem since 15 September 2022 and I thought someone tried to hack my phone cause note 8 could not update software anymore. Now I know not only me. From Australia 🇦🇺 user.

My galaxy note 8 got this problem since 15 September 2022 and when you login secure folder it's copy all what I save in Samsung note inside secure folder after that I have to change all passwords and change settings not allowed to copy. But still can't stop notification that pop up anytime to unlock phone.

FIXED. Make the secure folder visible. Enter your password to unlock the folder and gain access. Then, without hitting 'lock and exit' simply exit the folder (whilst its unlocked). Then hide the folder. The notification will disappear. Then, unhide the folder. Click on it to open and you'll notice the folder is actually locked and will require the password.
I think the update removed the need to manually lock and exit the folder as now, everytime you hide the folder it automatically locks it anyway.
Hope this helps

Not fixed.
Tried that, but it doesn't change anything.
Just reboot your phone and you'll see yourself.

You'll see above, we've tried this repeatedly. No love.
