Hotspot

I us the hotspot on my phone to run the navigation systems on my cars.

Is there a way to set the hotspot so that the phone recognises where I am and turns it on when I'm in my car.

My previous phone did that and it becomes a bit annoying to have to switch it on manually every time I get in my car.

There's not an option specifically for this in Bixby routines as the location data works on GPS. You could however have it so when you leave your house, your WiFi turns off and your hotspot turns on automatically, then in theory it should automatically connect when you get in the car.

Then if you're driving to work or whatever, you can set up another routine for the hotspot to turn back off and for WiFi/data to turn on for when you get there.

Never worked out how to use bixby routines. No instructions cane with this phone, or if they did I have yet to find them after 18 months use.
What exactly is bixby and how do I use it?
