It could be a setting on the Bluetooth headphones.

My Bose Bluetooth headphones have an app that allows certain settings to be changed. Might be worth checking if yours have one,

Also if you enable Developer Options in your phone there used to be a setting within there that helped with removing volume limiting.

I think it was called Absolute Volume.

I haven't used the Developer settings for a while however.

To enable go to About phone, software information, and tap seven times on the build number section.

Fair enough @robchampfn2

Perhaps try another set of Bluetooth earphones as a process of elimination to rule out your headphones at issue.

Other than that I wish you all the best with this.

If another set are working fine with your phone then that highlights that the phone is working as it should.

Have aseafch for a forum that has people who use your particular model of earphones and see if it's an issue others have experienced and found a workaround for.

@detp94: Can you try heading to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Volume > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Media Volume Limit, and turn this feature OFF to see if this helps?

I had the same issue with my earbuds and Samsung s20. I found a way how to fix it. Go to: Settings, after Sounds and vibration, after the volume menu, and then adjust the volume level there.
