Google photos app

So is anyone else having issues with the Google photos app on a Samsung s20 5g.

Everytime i go onto the button to delete blurry photos for example i get a screen come up saying that Google photos isn't responding, same thing happens when I go onto screen shots as well

Then the app closes down which is so annoying 🙄 

I have been on the Google photos forum and it seems im not the only one who is having the same problem 

Can anyone suggest anything to stop this from happening i have already cleared the cache but it is still occurring

@starshine: Please can you try heading to Settings > Apps > Photos > Force stop, then restart your Galaxy S20 to see if this helps? If the issue persists, try connecting to an alternate Wi-Fi router, or Mobile data, just in case the issue is connection related. Furthermore, head to the Google Play Store > Tap your profile in the top right > Manage apps and device > Updates, and check here for any updates for the Google Photos app that might address these performance issues.
