Does anyone know where the setting is on the 5G model to prevent WiFi from going to sleep when you close the clear view cover case, or press power to turn off display.

I notice when I open case and select an app that uses data I get message saying no internet or I see no WiFi signal for a second or so.

I also see this on my Tab S6, but not on Pixel 3XL or my Huawei devices. Just Samsung but can't find setting to prevent WiFi going to sleep.

Do you have Energy Saving Mode activated?

@walkerx If you don't have any Battery Saver turned on, maybe you could Reset Network Settings. Sometimes it fixes wireless connection problems.

@walkerx There is a setting under Maintenance / Battery / Background usage limits / Apps always idle - this is the closest thing to deep sleep. Check if you have any apps in this setting.
