Access to Gmail

Hi,my phone just recently broke out and changed my phone,the issue is that I can not access to my previous Gmail address because the app asks me for password which I have forgotten,does anyone know how can I get access to my gmail

My phone has signed me out of everything my calendar has also messed up my videos dont play as they should this is all happened since the last update has anyone else had this problem?

Did you not set-up a back up email address for password reset?
