How can I use my volume rocker switch to silence all sounds... ie when I go into a meeting. Currently only the ringtone goes silent. I've  done resets and I was using a great third part app which I activated every morning and it worked doing that  but I forgot to note it when I did factory reset So I'm  pretty much out of ideas

Quicker to use the quick settings from the pull down menu to just silence the volume as you don't need to unlock the phone

or put it in aeroplane mode, there should be no need to check the phone while in a meeting anyway.
