Hi
Since the latest update on my S10plus I keep getting a notification about Gear VR not being supported and to uninstall it, I press uninstall but it just lists Facebook stuff and says done, but then I have to update Facebook and log in etc, then the next morning the message that it is not supported is back. Anybody know how to get rid of this please?

"App Inspector" (not affiliated) will show all the hidden bloatware, and Gear VR Service is listed, so those who are confused as to it being there or not, it's there 😳
Perhaps their fix is the consumer purchasing another of their phones, as they probably ironed out these sort of issues easily whilst in production versus tonnes of testing with phones out in the wild. <Insert usual sighs and lols here>

Thank you all for posting about this because you have saved me from the verge of a mental breakdown!!!! I'm so tech challenged that on January 27th when my phone kept giving error messages re: SIM card that I had no clue where or how to find it that I had to beg my son and husband to fix it for me. Ever since they took it to AT&T and had them give me a new SIM, I have had nothing but problems and issues with my phone including being locked out of FB and crazy issues with anything that I used FB to sign in with. I got so frustrated with the phone issues and not having a clue what was going on that I went to AT&T store Thursday night and ordered the new Samsung S22 Ultra something or other. Today I just happened to actually be staring at my phone after it finished doing its update thing and noticed a flash about FB app manager??? when I uninstalled Occulus VR ??? which led me to do a Google search and straight to you. That all being said and given Samsung's knowledge of the problem, I will be canceling my new phone order and purchasing a new anything but Samsung phone first thing tomorrow.

I am puzzled. Why has no one from Samsung helped with this problem? I have a S22 Ultra on order, but if this and my calendar refusing to synchronize with office 365 outlook, I will cancel the order.

I hope you have advised Samsung of your intention to cancel because of this issue, people like you have the Power if intending to buy new products.

I see I'm not the only one who is going to buy the s20 ultra and who is considering canceling a Samsung the solution or sends out an update Apple correct the situation. I've not called Samsung yet because I have had no time to do so and set in the phone and let them take my over my phone and go through things.
