Has anyone managed to connect a DAC via the TypeC USB on the Note 9? I have a ifi Audio Uno DAC and the correct ifi connecting cable but nothing happens!

Not a Note 9, but used a Cyrus DAC with S9 and 10 and an AQ Cobalt with S20 and Fold.

You usually need a support app to enable a mobile DAC bypass, I used USB Audio Player Pro.

For what it's worth I prefer the Buds2 Pro than all the USB DAC drama.

I have installed a support app but it's made no difference. I cannot bear ear buds and have Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro cans, which are fab....but on my phone and my laptop a DAC would up the quality a bit.
Thanks for replying.

I use audio pro too but I cannot get the phone to recognise the DAC. I've tried several otg cables but no joy.
