S pen

My phone keeps asking me to insert the S pen that is already in the phone, into the phone. How do I resolve this? I think the phone can't recognise the S pen is in.

remove the S Pen, switch off the phone then, while the phone is switched off, reinsert the pen.

I have turned my phone off twice and insert the S pen. didn't work.

I think something inside the S Pen must be broken, or there is an obstruction of some sort that makes the phone think that there is no pen in the phone. give it a gentle thump against your other hand to see if it dislodged anything. failing that, book it in for a repair.
