Issue with Clear View Cover not working

So I just decided to put my clear view cover on my phone and the phone is not recognizing the case and it shows no options for the case under advanced features.

The problem is as old as the clear view covers. I was struggling with my S9 cover for a year

After every software update the cover isn't recognized anymore.

That's my solution:

  • Remove cover
  • Connect power cable
  • Put cover back
  • Close cover
  • Done.

Works for me every time, I guess connecting to power cable is the trick.

Hope this works for you as well.

I recently purchased this case from Samsung for my Note 10 and its working as it should.

 

On inserting my phone into the case I was presented with theme options.

 

The display showed as it is mesnt to under the plastic see through piece at the side of the case.

 

Can you elaborate on how it's not recognising the case and what you need from the advanced features section.

 

Is it seeing notifications  ?

I'm at work right now with the Samsung leather case attached but I can certainly check for  you later this evening when I return home to see what I see in advanced features section of the phone.

I'm having the same problem with my clear view case it won't wake the phone when I open it it no longer showes the phone call in the clear part and doesn't put the phone to sleep when I close it

I have a similar problem, I took the phone out of the clear view case for a few hours while I was cycling, when I returned the phone to the clear view case it no longer works. The phone does not recognise the case at all. Still struggling to get it working again.

It seems that Samsung blocked something in a recent software upgrade. It makes the clear views (suspiciously not genuine) unusable as before.

I am having the same issues after an update a few days ago. Tried the tricks on this forum to no avail.  

 

Has anyone else recently had any luck with getting this working again?  Samsung support just provided the standard reset, re-buy, or visit a support center nonsense.
