Huge increase in camera lag

Over the past two weeks my camera lag has increased massively. When I go to flip the camera it takes around 5 seconds to load completely. Nothing has updated that would change this so I'm really confused. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I would definitely start by clearing the cache on the camera app itself @bruunduun to clear away any 'bad habits'. A simple reboot would not solve things for sure. 👍

I have already tried that and it didn't change anything

This was a year ago and I don't have that phone anymore so sorry i can't help
