Samsung in their ultimate wisdom have decided to stop letting users Store pictures from their gallery into Samsung Cloud and have instead decided to eventually go with Google Drive.
Personally I've used Google Drive and I'm not taken with it.
The storage preference seems disjointed in my opinion, and I didn't like the way I was getting a ' preparing ' notification in my top status bar rather regularly, which makes me think it's not as integrated well as Samsung Cloud was.
You also need to be careful how you activate Google Drive so that Camera Uploads works correctly.
So for now I've deactivated Google Drive and I automatically update my created photo's to Dropbox. That works seamlessly for me.
With Google Drive you get 100gb
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
