Hi, I hope somebody can help me, please. Since 15th December, my phone has had no signal, no network. I can only connect to WiFi and use WhatsApp and internet based apps. I have tried all the usual things (factory reset, resetting network settings, getting a new sim from o2). When I put the sim into another phone (my old samsung), I get signal and can make calls/receive SMS. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to get this problem sorted, please?
Thank you

In connections
Go into sim manager, is it turned on for the sim?
Also check in data usage, is mobile data turned on.
I know it sounds obvious, but is the sim card correctly in place?
Also, if its a duel sim phone, try the card in the other place on the sim tray
Also some phone cases can affect signal strength and reception. Taking the case off is worth a try
Could try Wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone. In case it's something corrupted.
It could be a faulty with the phone, so you'd have to look at booking a repair

Where did you get the device from?
If bought second hand from sites such as eBay or from retailers such as CashConverters then it may be possible that the device has been blacklisted by the previous owner?

same thing happened to me since the September update, its a software issue on your phone, there is also another post with about 10 to 15 people with the same issue, Samsung knows about the issue, because it happened directly after the software updates and just does not care to fix it, so good luck with that...btw you can leave your sim in your phone and turn on WIFI calling, then you will receive SMSs and calls on that phone

Hi, i have the same problem, the best option i found (after reset network settings, factory reset, new sim, new carrier, boot without sim and wifi, manually set apn, clear cache from recovery) was to change csc to GCF, disable cidmanager from adb and set Preferred Network to LTE only.
I described my whole process here https://xdaforums.com/t/solved-poor-weak-signal-after-update.4651455/
I am also waiting for Samsung to fix it.

Had same issue yesterday nothing was helping and even local technicians didn't know.
Did network reset in settings and then I did force restart but instead of doing it once I kept holding the button and it restarted roughly 10 times and problem solved.
Hold volume up + volume down + power button and keep holding it until it starts couple of time. Hope it helps solve someones problem in future.
