Note 10 Plus- Recoding videos with IG/ FB not recording/playing sound?

So recording videos with the camera app and uploading them to IG/FB is working fine, audio and video work. When I record videos in IG/FB using the story mode it only plays the video. I hear sound like when you put the needle down on a record but thats it. No audio plays. I factory reset my phone, permissions are set to allow while using the app. So the issue is not the hardware right? Has this happened to anyone else. I switched to a different phone since I use IG a lot.
