The phone hard bricked after a re-start when updating to the latest 'Google security update'. I tried to book a repair job with Samsung but got stuck when it asked me to give the IMEI number, as I can't get into the phone. Help anyone?

Have you kept the box the device came in? It will have the details on it somewhere, usually on the side or end of the box.
