Hi,
Go to the Contacts app, click on your name, then click on Edit and then update your phone no. and Save. Go back to About phone and check if the number has been updated.
And if this does not work, then best to request a new sim card.

If your network assigned you a temporary number while they ported your own number from a previous network vua a Pac then the phone could be picking up the original temporary number.
Ask your local Highstreet Store to perform a sim swap to a blank sim card as the blank sim card will never had a number associated with it.
I wish you all the best. 😎

Hi,
old topic but I came across this with the same issue moving sim to my s24...called EE as my mobile network...all I needed to do was refresh my network settings...they did the same...restarted and all correct!
(so no store or replacement sim service needed!)

Am having the same issue. A random number is set. I’ve been with the same network and had the same number since getting my phone 30 years ago!

My contact profile sets a random number as my main number. I’ve been on the same network and had the same number since getting my phone four years ago so why has this happened just now and I can´t receive or make calls or send or receive messages and when i try, then it shows *Not registered on network* error.
When I restart my phone, then just in start it shows what calls I missed and then within seconds, my network is again disconnected, and when all towers are up, I still can't make calls or send messages. Other people who try to call said that my number is always showing busy on their end when I'm not even using it.
How can I fix this issue? Please help.
