See above. Google says samsung. Samsung says Google. No one ever actually explains why I have lost a significant and not inexpensive feature for my phone.

It's not in my display settings of my Note 10 either @Desolas
This looks to be a feature then possibly removed as part of the update.
Best advice I can give is to send your feedback via your Samsung Members App to ask for this to be looked at as a possible feature to be returned.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Meh.. Me and any many others did that. All we got was generic answer: ask Google about it, it's their product...
From my point of view Samsung messed this by removing two lines of code from XML file, not Google.
They blatantly renedered my S9+ less useful and my Daydream useless, and I will not forget that when deciding which phone to buy next this summer.

they even pointed out to what exactly is wrong and it's a simple fix. It's upto Samsung to fix it. Hope they do.

Posted this in the S9 thread, but I'll repost here too:
Hi all,
We asked our developers about this one. They've advised us that Daydream has been discontinued by Google, and so new devices or new OS's are unable to be certified for it.
I found this which backs that up: https://venturebeat.com/2019/10/15/google-discontinues-daydream-vr/

While you're right about the "no new phones" thing, nothing in that article nor anything Google has said in our communications suggested that new versions of Android wouldn't be supported. In fact, the Pixle 3 still supports Daydream on Android 10. One final thing is that if you look at the previous updates, there was no process for recertifying phones after a new version of Android. Google suggested that no phones would be removed from the compatible list. Thanks for your comment, but please read the article more closely; all it says is that no new Pixel or any other ANDROID PHONE would be certified.
Thanks,
