1 TB Micro SD Card

What happen if I insert a 1TB MicroSD Card from SanDisk Extreme into my Note 9 that only support up to 512GB?

1) Will it spoil the 1TB MicroSD Card?

2) Will it still able to read and write? Or up to a limited storage?

Appreciate if I can get some questions.

Samsung provide their recommendations from testing out the current available largest sd card at the time.

I wouldn't think trying a larger sd card in the phone will “ spoil ” it @Twenty322
