I've turned off intelligent wifi and checked that there was no app that turned off my wifi and it still doesn't work. This would usually happen when I play games while calling someone or just hopping between apps, the phone would get a little laggy and then it turned off wifi by itself, it really messes up things on my end, please how do I fix this.

If your Wi-Fi disconnects when you open apps, it's likely due to a few common causes: power management settings, network configuration issues, or interference. To resolve this, try restarting your router and device, checking your device's Wi-Fi settings, and potentially resetting network settings

Note
You may need your router password if Rebooting router

I've tried all of that but unfortunately it still doesn't fix the issue.

@JoryuJ: Please try heading to Settings > Modes and Routines, and check to see if any routines are set up which might disable Wi-Fi under certain conditions.

Now, head to Settings > Connections > Data usage > Allowed network for apps, and make sure that 'Mobile data and Wi-Fi' is enabled for the games you're playing, plus any apps you've experienced Wi-Fi connectivity issues with.

You may also wish to head to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings . Reset settings, although please be aware that you will be required to re-register any Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices following this step.
