WiFi issues

I recently got a Samsung A12 and I've been having issues getting WiFi signals 

It's only registering 1 WiFi signal 2G but won't pick up 5G, it's a 5G phone and my phone won't see others. 

Anyway of sorting this?

Set up two separate SSIDs in your router, one for 2.4Ghz and one for 5Ghz and connect on the 5Ghz one.

2G cuts out when I'm playing games, it's only picking up 1 signal by Virgin Media when it has 2

PlayStation pick up both and change when one connection goes haywire but my phone only noticing 1 and games lag or freeze regularly

It seems that the A12 doesn't support 5Ghz wifi

It's frustrating because good phone just WiFi lags and causes some games to freeze
