My friends A34 5G has asked for a password to get in. He's been using fingerprint access and it is saying something about putting in a password every 72 hours. Can anyone help?

He will have set a pin or password as a backup way to sign in when he first set up fingerprint (biometric) lock. The password every 72h thing is normal, he just needs to enter whatever password he set originally in order to get in!

Before setting up fingerprint, we have to set a pin/password 🔑. Then only they accept fingerprint. May be he forget it. Asking password is normal to ensure the security

If you still have no success in fixing this, your remaining option is to do a manual factory reset. Look up the key-combo for recovery mode on your device. Perform a factory reset using the menu, then unlock the device with your Google password when you set it up again. Be aware though, that this WILL fully reset your device, and anything not backed up will be deleted forever. But at least you will have access to the device again.
