Volume button not working on my Samsung A40

Hi all,

The volume button on my Samsung phone was more or less operating normally until today (I've had my phone since 2020). The only issue was that the volume down button sometimes gave me a hard time so I had to switch on the volume widget to be able to use it with no issue. However, the volume up button also decided to stop working today... what should I do? I've read that the TalkBack app could be the cause but I don't even have it on my phone.

Please help!

Hi @San98 

Samsung phone's have a 2 year manufacturers warranty so if your still within that then a Samsung Service Centre can check out the phone

@BandOfBrothers I'm afraid not, as I got my phone in January 2020😞 what should I do?

If this was my phone I'd still take it to a Samsung Service Centre for them to assess. 

You never know the fix might be a simple and cheap one @San98
