I just updated my galaxy a25 to the newest software version and now it no longer charges from usb c to usb c charging cables, even the one provided with the phone doesn't work. This issue occurred as soon as the phone was updated as the cable was working hours prior. The cords work on other devices and the phone can charge from a usb a to usb c. This is extremely inconvenient, is there a way that this issue can be fixed?

Thanks for the information, I have tried as you advised however the phone will not go into the recovery menu it just goes to the normal start-up screen. What do you mean by what charger is in use? I am currently using usb a to c to charge my phone instead of the usb c to c that I have always used that came with the phone

After the phone is turn off and connected to a PC or another phone, try pressing Volume up and Side button until Samsung logo appears, then release power button, if it does not work try releasing both buttons after the logo appears.
It should boot into the recovery mode, then volume up/down to navigate, side button to select.

Thanks, I have tried as you advised but unfortunately it won't boot into recovery mode and now it won't accept any charging cables 😭, I have tested all cables on other devices and they work perfectly not sure what is going on. Checked the port and everything's good, only since the update have I had any issues whatsoever
