I have just tried updating my samsung galaxy A52s and once installed it said firmware issues and to go to Samsung centre for help. The only solution I'm seeing is to factory reset which seems excessive for a scheduled update. Is there a reason for this or will I have to reset my phone? Thank you.

It's possible something has glitched during the update @nona30

Is your phone still working OK.

If so then clear the phone's system cache files via > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to hook up to a Computer or insert your earphones to enter into recovery mode.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Try and reinstall the firmware again using smart switch or Odin

Unfortunately it probably will result in factory resetting your phone tho or the problem won't go away
