The summary of my issues with the update is purely cosmetic with the display, appearance, and customisation worse and inferior to what existed before (opinion). Is it the end of the world? No. Is it annoying? Yes.
I've not noticed battery performance reported by other users so far.
Where are they finding these barrels to scrape? I had another downgrade foisted on me overnight in the guise of 'bug fixes' to the last botched attempt to spabilise UI7. That's slowed the phone down even more, I can send morse code or semaphore faster than it now allows me to type.
it it awful honestly, im so confused, and I don't like how the notification bar looks like, and it doesn't seem to be any way of changing it to the previous version or customising it myself.. disappointed.
If you have an A series phone, it has stopped swipe up to unlock from working 90% of the time. And hanging up phone often doesn't respond. Phone now too unreliable to keep.
I hate this UI with every fiber of my being. It feels like a complete intrusion to modify my phone, that I already paid for to use a certain way a different way and to not offer the opportunity to go back. This will be my last Samsung. Any suggestions on what I should look into for a UI 6.1 experience?
