Do you think your daughter may have changed some settings @Dannynwa ?
If you can't see anything obvious in the Camera settings then try going into Settings, Apps, Camera, Storage, Clear Cache and if necessary clear data to see if that helps.
Also ensure your software us up to date and that the Camera lens is not smudged or marked up / scratched.
