I factory reset my Samsung A10. Now my Snapchat app just has Samsung's default notification sound  not Snapchat's 'ping' original notification sound.

How do I fix it?

Thank you

If you reset your phone then had to reinstall Snapchat then it's weird that it's not playing the app sound.

Go on settings>notifications>advanced settings and make sure that "manage notification categories for each app" is on.
Then go to Snapchat settings (settings>apps>Snapchat) and go onto notifications and then categories. Then you can change it and hopefully there should be "app provided sound" somewhere.

If it doesn't work, then I recommend downloading zedge, where you can download the Snapchat notification sound. It saves to your files so you can uninstall zedge right after. Hope this help and if it does click the 3 dots on this comment and click the button that says I've helped with you issue.

To set it via the phone, you'll need to ensure notification catagories is turned on. To do this - settings>notifications >advanced settings. Scroll down to manage notification catagories for each app. Toggle this on. Then, goto settings>app notifications. Scroll down to Snapchat and tap on it. Scroll down to notification catagories and tap on it. Toggle on each category. To assign a sound to each category, then tap on each one and tap sound. Choose a sound.
Also, check the Snapchat app settings itself for anything to do with notifications and sounds.
